John Deel is known as one of the world’s foremost CHANGE experts. CHANGE is in his DNA - a true Organizational Change Management (OCM) practitioner at heart. He thrives working closely with business leaders and their employees who are facing significant and “always-on” change to remain competitive, relevant, and viable. John has exemplary passion for CHANGE and enjoys being a respected go-to leader of enterprise-wide change programs around the globe.
Business leaders are becoming overwhelmingly appreciative of the importance of OCM and their people in driving results and success. While others run from change, John seeks out these opportunities. He leverages his superb relationship skills and emotional intelligence, to become a "trusted adviser" within business functional areas and IT - shop floor to top floor, and associates to the board room.
John believes people have the power to change – he is consumed making CHANGE less exhausting for them, achieving business results and success, and having some fun along the way! We definitely enjoyed talking with him on the podcast. We learn about his split career, one half rising from entry level to CIO, and another working as a change agent consulting.
His experience reminds us that technology is definitely the place to be. He stated that 90% of businesses that are making changes involve some kind of technology component. That is why he has the speciality between IT and the business.
